Summary of my summer hiking at GNP in the format of my annual Xmas newsletter.
and so much more
I worked as an employee shuttle driver on the West Side at GNP in 2021. In 62 days, I drove 10,500 shuttle miles while only transporting 270 (total) people, hiked 451 miles, climbed 114,000 feet of gain, summited 21 peaks, lost 28 pounds, and sang ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’ as a duet in a karaoke bar with another man. I LOVE stuff I can’t make up.

A great little summary of the hikes and climbs I did last summer in Glacier National Park.
Nancy and I take and October weekend to take one last pass thru Glacier National Park before winter.
I take a day to drive a Jammer for the first time in prep for next year. Finally, I get a little taste of the dream.
Meet the cast that made my Glacier summer of 2021 so enjoyable.
Lessons learned are always fun. Come explore some of the things I learned about myself (an others) during Glacier Summer 2021.
The Grinnell Glacier overlooks is a major hike from Logan Pass. Add blowing snow and crazy cold weather.
Climbing Heavy Runner mountain, but saving the last 40 feet to the summit for future hiking partners (and a rope, helmet, and repelling harness.)
I take a trip to upper Snyder Lake. Amazing remote for being so close to a very high traffic tourist trail.
Went for a nice hike to the Blackfoot Glacier complex. Turned back by a mother grizzly and her cub. Life to climb another day.
