The answer turned out to be an even 12. The same number it took to drive, wash, interior clean, and refuel the bus. Also, the same number took turns giving dialog and driving rough roads over an 8-hour day. Yeah, a training run from LMD to RSMI. Better known as 240 miles round trip in a vintage bus that will never leave your spine the same.

The incredible Two Medicine Valley from Looking Glass Highway. The shorter mountain in the middle is Sinopah. I climbed it last summer. The snow accumulation this year is amazing.

The worst part about giving practice commentary on winding roads is the audience. A group of guys who have studied basically the same thing as you. And when going 55, you can barely hear yourself speaking.

But I think Patrick has it all figured out. He slept most of the time. And his commentary reflected his participation.
